Spring is in full swing, which means you can no longer make excuses to curl up in bed with a warm blanket instead of exercising. The sunny and warm weather is refreshing and almost invites you to go outside for a run or at least for a brisk walk. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible because of the pandemic. If you don’t have that much time after work, there’s always the option of a 15-20 minutes mini-workout session. This is convenient because you don’t have to find 1 or 2 hours 2 or 3 times a week for an intensive workout, you can exercise a bit every day. You don’t even need fitness equipment for that. You don’t even have to follow specific warmup routines, for example. You can just put on some energizing music and dance to it in order to warm up. Then you can choose what kind of exercises you want to do, be it squats, abdominal crunches, or presses with water bottles instead of weights. Speaking about dancing, that’s another great way to exercise indoors and have a great deal of fun. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn a dance but never had time for it. If you want something less intensive, yoga would work perfectly for you. There are different yoga styles for different kinds of people and abilities. You only need a yoga mat, but putting a soft towel on a carpet will also work. Another classic option is Pilates. Although you would usually go to a studio with Pilates equipment, you can also do many exercises at home without any kind of equipment. A quick search on Google is enough to find plenty of exercises that you can do. All you need is a little bit of time and motivation!
